This update is designed to streamline the identification process with an enhanced chat functionality that allows you to send photos directly within your chat messages as well as enhance your pet's profile with the ability to add multiple images. 

Instant Identification of Lost Pets Through Chat 

Communication is key when it comes to finding and reuniting lost pets, and we are proud to provide improved ways for Petco Love Lost users to communicate and receive the confirmation needed prior to making a reunion. Our enhanced chat functionality now allows you to snap and send photos of pets directly from within new or existing chat messages. This real-time photo sharing feature in chats enhances communication between users and creates an opportunity for immediate identification of lost pets and their rightful owners, to help reunite more pets with their families. 

Capture Every Pet’s Unique Detail 

Each pet’s unique features are what makes them special, whether it’s that cute spot on their ear or their playful tail. Now, you can enhance your pet’s profile by adding up to four images: your pet’s full body, face, and markings, in addition to your pet’s main image — ensuring you can capture every angle and unique characteristic of your pet, to create a profile that truly represents them. 

When you enhance your pet’s profile with multiple images, Petco Love Lost users will see a carousel of your pet's four images in search results. This allows both community members and shelters to confidently identify that the pet they have found belongs to you — especially when they see an image showing the same cute spot on the ear — and immediately contact you, so you can bring your fluffy friend back home.
