Dr. Whitney Miller

Dr. Whitney Miller serves as Petco’s Chief Veterinarian. In that role, she is the lead veterinary subject matter expert advising Petco as a health and wellness company, including oversight of the company’s standards of excellence in animal care and welfare, growth in pet services and much more. Miller leads the Petco medical team, which supports over 250 full-service hospitals and mobile vaccinations clinics operating in over 1,000 Petco pet care centers nationwide. Dr. Miller received her DVM and MBA degrees from Colorado State University and has been board certified in Preventive Medicine since 2018. She has worked in emergency and general private practice, industry and advocacy roles for the veterinary profession, and continues to practice when she can. Dr. Miller resides in Texas with her husband, three little humans and adopted rottie, lab and cat.
