Kit is ready to add love to your home!
Meet Kit
Age: 2.5 years old
Gender: Female
Breed: American Bully mix
Weight: 45 lbs
Kit was brought to the shelter after being found as a stray who'd been struck in the head with the shovel by a member of the public. She was found with another dog, who has since been adopted. She woke up in the shelter and was immediately friendly with everyone she met. She became a favorite pretty quickly, and with her tiny size, we thought she would get adopted quickly, but after 240+ days, she’s quietly becoming one of our longest stays.
Kit is one of the most happy-go-lucky dogs in the world. She’s a calm, well-mannered girl. She’s not picky about anything, really. She loves to go on walks with her volunteer and staff friends and rolls over for belly rubs. She knows 'sit,' poses for pictures, takes treats gently, gets along with other dogs although she can be timid at first. Kit is just a nonchalant little lady!
Kit would do best in pretty much any home! She gets along best with other calm dogs like herself and has shown great potential to live with cats with slow introductions. She’s non-destructive when left alone at home, is gentle and sweet with all people, and seems to be potty trained as well! Kit walks well on leash and would love a home that wouldn’t mind cuddling on the couch and sharing their food with her on occasion. Her volunteer friends describe her a as a “foodie.” See Kit in action here.
