The 10th annual Cocktails for Critters takes place in a Santa Fe home. Proceeds from the event, which is being sponsored by Petco Love, support the nonprofit’s mission of providing second chances to cats in need.

Pound Buddies Animal Shelter, located at 1300 E. Keating Ave., was awarded the grant from Petco Love on Thursday, May 31.

As of May 24, the shelter has received estate donations totaling nearly $400,000 for the project, a $100,000 grant from Petco Love and a matching grant of $15,000 from the Batterman Foundation.
